The Adelaide United Football School is
back this summer with a comprehensive 12 week program. Based on the proven Barcelona philosophy, the program has been developed and will be implemented by UEFA Pro Licensed Coach and assistant A-League Coach, Jacobo Ramallo.

This program is designed to teach players the skills, discipline and commitment required to improve their football.

Initially players will be grouped by age then adjustments may be made according to their skill level.

Adelaide United will once again take a male Junior Reds side to compete in the Mediterranean International Cup (MIC) in Spain, where this year only players from the Adelaide United Football School will have the opportunity to trial to secure a position to join the Reds Team travelling to Spain in 2018.

FAQ

How old does my child have to be to register?
Football Schools are open to all boys and girls aged from 6 to 17 years.

Can parents or guardians watch the training?
Parents are welcome to take the opportunity to spectate, provided they do not interfere with the process of the program and they need to remain off the field at all times.

What things should my child bring to the Football Schools?
A welcome email will be sent to all participants prior to commencement but essentials are:

  • Water Bottle
  • Boots
  • Shin Pads
  • Sunscreen
  • Jacket

When training ends, each child is responsible to take his or her belongings. It is a great idea to have everything identified with your name. We suggest you do not carry any valuables.

When are uniforms given to children?
Uniforms are usually available at the venue for collection at your first session. Information will be outlined in your Welcome Email.

Who are the coaches?
Coaches are locally appointed coaches who are trained to facilitate the Adelaide United Football Schools curriculum that has been developed by UEFA Pro Licensed Coach Jacobo Ramallo.

What if a session is cancelled for any reason?
Sessions will go ahead regardless of weather (as long as safety is not compromised). This is however subject to change and cancellations can occur due to extreme weather. If a session is cancelled due to weather this session will be re-scheduled and participants will be notified.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?
All fees are refunded fully if the request is made in writing with more than 14 days prior to the start of the program. There will be no refunds once the Football School program has commenced regardless of when payment is made.

If you choose the part payment option and your credit card is dishonoured you will be required to pay the balance in cash at your child’s next session.

How do I choose the size of the uniform?
This uniform size is a guide based on age. If in doubt between two sizes we suggest ordering the larger size. Unfortunately, we work on a strict ordering basis and cannot change sizes once delivered, so please consider this carefully when ordering.
