About Adelaide United Members Club Inc (AUMC)

AUMC was set up in 2012 as a not for profit organisation to operate independently to Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC) but at the same time to use its affiliation for the purpose of:

– Encouraging, promoting and advancing the game of football/soccer in South Australia. – Educating, training, coaching and improving the ability of junior and women’s soccer players, coaches and trainers. – Identifying and nurturing junior and women’s soccer talent. – Providing opportunities for identified talent to train with others of similar abilities and goals in the game of soccer. – Providing social amenities to members such as licensed premises.

AUMC is very proud of some of the goals we’ve reached since inception, in particular the introduction of the Adelaide United Football School as well as funding AUFC’s second Youth Team who won the State League Title in their first season in 2015. AUFC’s National Premier League Team kept their place in the National Premier League in 2016 and in 2017 AUMC were also able to fund a Reserve Team in the competition. The Reds NPL Team have successfully kept their place in the NPL for 2018. These proven grass roots initiatives will benefit the club in years to come.

AUMC is also very proud of the acquisition of The Castle Tavern in Edwardstown. This fully licenced venue has given our supporters a second ‘home ground’ as such, something the club hasn’t had since its inception, with members receiving discounts on food & drink. The Castle Tavern is also one of the major sponsors of AUFC further strengthening the relationship between AUMC and AUFC.
